I own a corn snake. When buying a snake they told me to get a glass tank (aquarium) for the snake, but because of price I bought a good plastic tank. In like a month or two I’ll buy a bigger glass tank, but for now i have the plastic one. My question was whats the best way to clean it. Im asking that because if u try to like wet it all and clean it with paper, it will just get all scratched up. Does anyone know a way to clean that type of cage without scratching it up?

Use warm water with chlorox mixed in. Pour it into the cage & swirl it around.
Let it stand for 10-15min. then empty & rinse repeatedly with clean water till you can no longer smell the chlorox. Dry with a soft cloth. I don’t know what kind of paper you use, but cleaning plastic with a wet paper towel won’t scratch unless there’s some kind of grit on the plastic & you really scrub the cage hard.

There’s not really much you can do to clean it without scratching- one of many reasons you shouldn’t buy plastic cages for reptiles. The other is that to keep it heated properly, the plastic will melt. I suggest you put more priority into getting the glass tank and some proper equipment for your snake.
Meanwhile, the best you can do is mix some vinegar and water, empty the cage, and swish the mixture around or let it soak for a while. Most of the gunk should rinse out, and you can let it air dry before putting it back together.

You should have it in a glass aquarium. If you have the proper heating for the corn snake (heating pad/heat lamp) it will melt the plastic and the melting plastic can harm your snake.

Ged rid of the snake, why would anyone with a life want to have a snake?
